The site has seven 3000A services, and two 1200A services at 480V, and four 600A services at 4160V.The plant eventually will employ about 1,000 in processing and administration positions.
Scope of Work Included:

Main building electrical package (Including site work, building services, power distribution, and lighting.)
SKCE was awarded both the refrigeration system and main building electrical.
Communication is critical to success on any project but for one of this magnitude it takes on additional significance. To facilitate communication from the site to SKCE's Lenexa office, a DSL line was installed to the trailer and a LAN was established. The project team also utilized Constructware, an internet based project management tool, to track project documents ranging from meeting minutes, RFI's, correspondences, and drawing revisions. |
