1896

John McCarter, great-grandfather of Roland Stephenson, started working at the Edison Power Plant.

1909

Gordon Stephenson, grandfather of Roland Stephenson, graduated from Milwaukee School of Engineering.  He taught at M.S.O.E. and worked at the Milwaukee Electrical Railway & Light Company, a power company in Milwaukee.

1936

John McCarter retired as Chief Engineer from the Wisconsin Michigan Power Company Plant, the successor to the old Edison Plant.

1952

Clyde Stephenson, father of Roland Stephenson, started his own electrical contracting company --  Stephenson Electric Company.  Roland became familiar with the electrical trade while working for his father's company.

1972

Roland Stephenson formed his own company -- Town & Country Electric Inc.

1998

Town & Country Electric merged into a wholly owned subsidiary of Consolidated Capital Corporation, which later became Building One Services Corporation.

2000

Town & Country Electric's parent company, Building One Services Corporation, merged with Group Maintenance America Corp. (GroupMAC).  The newly combined company was Encompass Services Corporation.  With almost 900 employees, Town & Country Electric became the largest electrical contractor with 12 locations throughout Wisconsin and Tell City, Indiana.

2001

Town & Country Electric, along with a sister company, SKC Electric based out of Lenexa, Kansas, officially changed their name to Encompass Electrical Technologies-Midwest, Inc.

2002

November 13, 2002, Town & Country Electric and SKC Electrict were purchased back from Encompass Services Corporation.  Doing business under their respective names, they will be wholly owned subsidiaries of Faith Technologies, Inc., which will operate under employee ownership.

2005

Rollie Stephenson, CEO and President of Faith Technologies, Inc. has announced the opening of a new office in Woodstock, Georgia.  This location will be doing business as Faith Technologies.
